Confession & Destination: Inspiration Linky Party #15

It's great to be back to blogging this week. Last week life threw me a curve ball ...as if being a mom of a toddler and a one year old isn't enough of an adventure on a daily basis! I took some time away from blogging to be quiet. To focus on my God, my family and friends. To cherish all that I have at this precious moment in time.

My loves....Brian and Isla snuggle at Lauren's Fairy Birthday Party!

Teagan and Kade salute: Sir, Yes Sir!
They are in great hands with Brian on deck!

I know I lost at least one official follower in the process (and probably more) but for those who are still hanging with me...you are precious. And I've missed you. I feel a connection with so many of you in the few short weeks we've had these link ups and I hope this continues to be a place you like to contribute to.

With that, we are back on track this week with the red, white and blue themed Stars and Stripes party that is ongoing from now to July 15th as well as the weekly Destination: Inspiration. Boy, do I need some inspiration these days. I can't wait to see what you have going on this week!!!

Now, on to this week's party! Show me what you've got!

A Spot of Tea!

I hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day! Brian had a brilliant idea to let the girl's off for Afternoon Tea at the Ritz Carlton following church on Sunday.

There were so many wonderful teas to choose from. My favorite was a light mango flavored tea.

Ever so elegant sandwiches. The petits fours were amazing too but I didn't get a great shot of them.

Natasha and Jennifer

Krissy and Shanna

I love this hat on Krissy. She's ready for lunch with the ladies!

These girls mean so much to me so it was special getting to spend the day with them!

And when I got home Teagan, Isla and Daddy had more tea treats waiting! I love Tea (as in Teagan) and tea, can you tell???

First, I got a cool mug that says Tea in tons of languages and can travel in the car with me.  And then I got tons of chocolate biscuits, or cookies, along with Ireland's best tea, Barry's Gold Blend, which is a favorite in our house!  Before I could snag a picture little Teagan hands snagged those biscuits away which made me laugh. She loves chocolate just as much as her mommy.

And perhaps the best gift was celebrating time last night at home with Brian and the girls. Isla took her first steps this weekend which was reason to celebrate, to be sure! She's off and running now and even walked to Teagan this morning.

I hope you had a great Mother's Day and would love to hear what you got up to! Stay tuned for tonight's Destination: Inspiration party!

Blessings, Michelle

Friday Fun Dates!

For the last month we've been meeting at local parks on Fridays with our friends so I thought I'd recap some of our favorite moments here! I love our group of girls and toddlers! And we expect to grow after school lets out for summer. Having this scheduled weekly is a great way to make sure we get together on a regular basis. I can't wait to see what adventures we get up to in the summer months!

In the meantime, I am having so much fun exploring features from my new favorite obsession, PicMonkey!  I've cloned out shoes and sunglasses in some of these, used cool zoom features, filters and more.

Teagan & Lera love each other!

Baby Brecken walking so early! Isn't he precious?

One of Isla's favorite foods: mulch!

My big girl!

Love this one of Jackson!
His birthday is in one hour and fifteen minutes.
Happy Birthday Three Year Old, Boy!

Ok, is that the saddest face ever?
Not sure what she wanted here but it probably indicated nap time was near.

Isla has some big love for Natasha!

My sweet friend Catherine and baby John

And John's big sister Ellie who is so beautiful and fun!

A chilly park snuggle with Isla and Natasha!

My sweet angel. We are matching!

Isla and I had a great time playing with mom Wendy and Alexa Kate!

Love you, Natasha!

Alexa Kate's slide adventures!

Great pic of Alexa Kate with her mommy!

From today...you know I am a tired momma when I have two measly shots from the day.
Baby Landon (who Teagan loves and swears is her little brother) and mom Leah joined us!

Shanna and Caleb! They left early to go hear baby brother (or sister's heartbeat)! We have at least two babies on the way in our group (congrats to Melissa M too!) and can't wait to meet the playgroup newbies this fall!

Hope all are having a great weekend!

A Happy Friday!

We are exhausted after a super busy but fun week!  This morning we had a Friday Fun Play Date with Shanna, Caleb, Leah and Landon before heading home a bit early.  Teagan and Isla had shots at their checkups yesterday and I think Tea is under the weather.  Poor petal.

Here's a funny picture I captured at Monday's Princess and Fairy in the park play date.   I know Teagan lovesssss her friend Ellie but at three years old she is still getting the hang of sharing.

The caption reads:

"Now listen, just because we're friends and all, don't be mistaken:
Hands offa da wings!!!"

I'm sorry Sweet Ellie!  We love you to bits and can't wait to play again.

Off to rest before an equally busy but spectacular weekend. Cousin Kade kicks off the fun with a sleepover tonight!

Blessings, Michelle

An Enchanted...Park!

On Monday we had the best time with our friends at a park where princes, fairies, knights, princesses...and even Buzz Lightyear took over!  We decorated wands and swords, had fairy treats, played on the playground and had a parade.

I love that my little tomboy will still let me dress her in girly cuteness!

My Strawberry Fairy, Isla!

Isla is smitten with French baby John! Isn't he a cutie?

I love my friend Catherine who is so sweet and inspires me!

Beautiful Princess Ellie!

We also got to catch up with our buddies Daniel, Ashleigh and Mom Polly!

Teagan had other ideas while the kids lined up and had a parade. My little fairy wanted to "fly" through the woods. And so we did. I love her and her imagination which makes every day enchanting!

Have a great day, everyone!

Happy Birthday Isla & Destination: Inspiration Linky Party #14!

I hope you are having a great week so far! We are just getting back to normal after Brian had travel over the last month to Colorado, California, England and Ireland.  The girls and I missed him so much and are thankful he doesn't normally travel for work.

While he was gone Isla turned one year old and Teagan celebrated her third birthday.  We have tons of little buddies with birthdays during these spring months so we may push our official celebrations out to June.

In the meantime, I have been taking time to finally figure out Photoshop Elements.  This is my first digital scrap booking page!  Everything was free and I had such a great time creating it!  Next up is a page for Teagan.

Now on to your fabulous creations and features from last week's party!

Oh Twigg Studios, you make my heart sing! Loving these cupcake liner peonies, my favorite flower. I so can't wait to make these to adore pillows, packages, wreaths and more!  There is just a ton of inspiration on this site so check it out!

I love this amazing marigold dresser makeover with beautiful ribbon bows by 551 East Designs.  Julia is so inspiring and I even love the gorgeous lamps she scored to go with this!

How cute are these Little Man cookies from Blackberry Vine?  My favorite is the 'tash cookie! Reminds me of a recent birthday party we celebrated for baby Landon!  I have several pregnant friends and know they would love these cookies which Jami created for a baby shower!  Be sure to check out her site for scrumptious treats and linky parties!

OK, so normally I only have three features each week.  But this Flourless Chocolate Cake with Dark Chocolate Glaze from Queen of Savings looks wonderful!  And because my twin sister is on a new gluten-free diet I can't wait to share this with her!

Thanks for the amazing submissions, everyone!  I can't wait to see what you have going on this week.  Also, I hope you'll link up on this party and also join my Stars and Stripes party which features all goodies and crafts related to red, white and blue!   It is running from now until July 4th!

Now, on to the party! Show me what you've got!
