We Will Never Forget

Our family took cookies and goodies from Brian's company (they make equipment for firemen) to our local fire station today as we remember those fallen on 9/11. Teagan and Kade did a great job decorating our sign and the cookies!

The firemen were wonderful and let the kids get in the truck and ambulance. We even got to take a tour of the fire station! We left with new hats and deputy fire fighter badges. Super great night out. We played a bit after with our friends in the hood! I love that they got this picture of me with Isla!

How did you remember this special day in history? Blessings to those who serve and protect here and all over the world!

    1. Thank you! This is our second year of doing this and it means so much to us and to the kids. I worked across the street from WTC and pray we never forget the families of those impacted by this tragic day in our history. I pray we can use it as a chance to spread hope, Jesus' love and some happiness.

      Blessings, Michelle

  2. I continued on as always in my role as an Army wife and vet myself, wishing that one of our politicians would stand up and end this useless bloodshed so that my husband won't have to go to Afghanistan to get fragged by our so-called allies next year....average day.

    1. I can only imagine the true toll this war takes on families such as yours. All I can say is thank you for your service and his. It takes such great courage and personal sacrifice. I am so grateful and will be saying prayers for your family. By the way, my brother is a fighter pilot in the Air Force and we are so thankful that for the time being he is based here. I hope you will keep us posted.

      Blessings, Michelle

  3. We will always remember that day and the sacrifice of so many people trying to save people. That is such a wonderful thing to do with your children. It will help them to understand what happened that day before they were born.
